Krispy Kreme put the Looney Tunes in Halloween costumes, and Bugs Bunny showed up as a vampire. That tracks.

The chain's first Looney Tunes Halloween collection landed October 6 and runs through October 31 at participating shops. Four doughnuts, five characters, all of them dressed up on little sugar pieces sitting right in the middle of the doughnut.

Bugs gets an unglazed shell filled with chocolate dulce Kreme, red dulce icing, a chocolate drizzle, and bat sprinkles. Taz, dressed as a mummy, gets the heavyweight build: OREO Cookies and Kreme filling, chocolate icing, OREO pieces, and a green drizzle. Lola Bunny plays the witch on an Original Glazed with purple buttercream and gold star sprinkles.

Then there is the one that will start arguments. Tweety and Sylvester share a doughnut dipped in candy corn flavored icing. Candy corn on a doughnut, in icing form. People have ended friendships over less.

You can grab them solo or as the Halloween Specialty Dozen. And if you show up in costume on October 30 or 31, you get a free Original Glazed or Classic Ring, no purchase needed. Free doughnut for wearing a costume you were going to wear anyway. Easy call.
