Pringles found the one Halloween prize that beats every haunted house: a can you can be buried in.

The brand's Once You Drop contest gives one fan a metal urn built like a Pringles can, engraved with your name, with the mascot up top sporting X's for eyes and cobwebs in the corners. You also get $28,080 in cash. Pringles calls it an afterlifetime supply, and the math checks out: one $2.70 can a week for 200 years.

This isn't a random stunt, either. Fredric Baur invented the Pringles can in the 1960s, and when he died in 2008 at 89, his family put part of his ashes in an Original can, just like he asked. Pringles just opened that offer up to the rest of us.

Real life funeral director Dan Madden, known online as Dan the Funeral Man, fronts the campaign. His line in the video says it all: "I love when people think outside the box, or the urn."

To enter, you sign a Will and Taste-ament at OnceYouDrop.com. It's for entertainment only and it isn't legally binding, so you can take the money and skip the eternal nap in a snack tube. Entries close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 22, and the winner gets announced around Halloween. The clock is the scariest part of this whole thing.
