Ocean Spray Is Coming for Pumpkin Spice With Three New Cranberry Drops

Ocean Spray looked at the entire pumpkin spice industrial complex and said, move over. This fall they are rolling out three new cranberry products: a Cranberry Cider juice drink, Sour Apple flavored Craisins, and a limited-edition Cranberry Spread.

The Sour Apple Craisins are the standout for me. They are joining Ocean Spray's sour lineup, combining that sweet-tart cranberry with bold apple flavor, hitting Amazon October 5. Sour candy energy in a dried fruit body. That is a bold move for the dried cranberry game, which has been politely sweet for decades.

The Cranberry Spread is inspired by a UK offering, smooth and tart, built for toast, sandwiches, and cheese boards. Rolling out at select retailers like Publix and Hy-Vee in October. And the cider drink lands at Amazon, Walmart.com, and select Walmart stores the same month.

Look, pumpkin spice had a good run. But cranberry showing up to fall with three new products is a power move. The sour apple alone has me curious, and if that spread shows up on a cheese board near me this holiday season, I am not asking questions.
