A 429-Foot Meat Stick Now Holds a World Record, and Omaha Is Proud

Slim Jim holds the Guinness World Record for the longest meat snack stick on the planet. Four hundred twenty-nine feet, five inches. Nearly seventy pounds. Line it up on the fifty yard line and both end zones are sitting there like they are also made of meat stick, because at that point everything is meat stick.

The record went down at the Conagra Brands campus in Omaha on September 9, with an official adjudicator on hand to certify the glory. The old record, a 314-foot meat stick from 2023, got demolished by more than a hundred feet. Then employees took celebratory bites out of the thing, which raises the only question that matters: does a 429-foot Slim Jim still snap into a Slim Jim, or does it snap into a building permit?
