Sacred ground, meet the most divisive candy on the planet.

Tombstone dropped a limited edition candy corn pizza and named it "The Pizza Nobody Asked For," which is either a cry for help or the most honest marketing of the year. Probably both.

Here is how the crime works. You order a regular Tombstone cheese or pepperoni pizza, they throw a side of candy corn in the box, and you assemble the thing yourself. The whole stunt ran $1.31, shipping included, across three online drops on October 2, 9, and 23. Three chances to make a questionable dinner decision, and people lined up for all three.

If it tastes terrible, the blame is technically shared. That is just good legal work.

Candy corn is the most divisive food on the planet and pizza is sacred ground, so merging them was always going to start a fight. My verdict stands: I would try it once, with a camera rolling, because "I ate candy corn pizza and lived" is a story worth having. The full story is in our food news coverage: Tombstone Released Candy Corn Pizza, and They Called It 'The Pizza Nobody Asked For'.
