PopUp Bagels and Graza Turned Caesar Salad Into a Bagel Schmear

PopUp Bagels has teamed up with Graza, the olive oil brand that recently decided it was also a potato chip brand, and together they have created something beautiful and unhinged: a Zesty Caesar Cream Cheese schmear. Yes, Caesar salad dressing flavor on a bagel. The most Italian thing to happen to brunch since someone put prosciutto on a donut, which is a sentence I never thought I would write.

The Caesar schmear landed at PopUp Bagels locations nationwide on September 24, and it is not alone. On October 1, a Herby Olive Oil Butter joins the menu, but only through October 7, so you have a very specific little window where you can try both side by side and decide which one you want to tell your friends about first.

On paper this should not work. Caesar dressing belongs on romaine lettuce in a restaurant where the waiter asks if you want it tossed tableside. But cream cheese has been absorbing every flavor under the sun for decades, and honestly, tangy, garlicky, umami-rich Caesar on a warm, chewy bagel might absolutely cook. PopUp Bagels built its whole brand on perfecting one thing, and Graza keeps proving it can flavor anything it touches. This collab has my full attention, and my stomach is already doing the talking.
