Dairy Queen Built Its First Halloween Menu and the Drink Bubbles When You Stir It
Dairy Queen built its first Halloween menu this year, and the drink bubbles when you stir it. Your move, every other chain. The Spellbound Series...
The internet begged, and Popeyes finally listened. The Cajun Onion Rings are back on menus nationwide starting today, $3.99 for the one size they come in, and they're only around for a limited time.
These rings carry history. They date back to at least the 1980s and built a serious following before Popeyes phased them out through the 2010s. The last holdout shops dropped them in 2020. Fans have been asking for them back on Reddit and everywhere else since at least 2022, and Popeyes tested the return at select spots this summer. The test passed.
The internet begged, and Popeyes finally listened.

The new build runs on a crispy beer batter style coat with Popeyes' Cajun spice worked in, so the heat shows up right after the crunch. Allrecipes points out the rings match the ones on Popeyes Canada's permanent menu, with the U.S. batch getting the extra Cajun kick. Early tasters say the heat is sneaky, too. It creeps in at the end of the bite and sends you back for another ring.
There's a deal riding shotgun, six pieces of signature bone-in chicken for $10 while the rings are around. Limited time means limited time, so if you spent years typing about these rings, go eat one while the fryer is still cooperating.
