Chamoy and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Just Traded Flavors, and Nobody Is Okay

October 3, 2026 • Moe Train Eats

This one broke my brain a little. Chamoy Mega, the number one chamoy in the U.S. and Mexico, just teamed up with Cinnamon Toast Crunch for a two-way flavor swap, and both directions are as wild as they sound.

Product one: Chamoy Mega's Cinnadust-flavored chamoy sauce. That is right, the spicy, tangy, salty Mexican condiment you drizzle on fruit and candy is now flavored like cinnamon-sugar cereal. It is meant for fruit, sweet treats, or whatever snack combinations you feel like experimenting with, and honestly, the fact that this exists tells you everything about where the snack world is right now.

Product two: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Chamoy Mega-flavored cereal. The classic cinnamon squares, now finished with the sweet and spicy kick of chamoy. It comes in a resealable pouch, so you can eat it with milk, straight from the bag, or toss it into snack mixes. The press release even suggests adding an extra drizzle of Chamoy Mega on top, which is either genius layering or a cry for help.

Both are limited edition. And look, I have to admit this kind of crossover is exactly the food industry at its most fun. Two brands looked at each other and said "what if we just swapped?" and then actually did it. Somewhere, a product developer is grinning like a maniac, and I am genuinely rooting for them.
