There Is Now a Spicy Korean Chili Caramel Latte and It Is Exactly as Bold as It Sounds
TOUS les JOURS and Oatly teamed up to make a Gochujang Caramel Latte, which is a fancy way of saying somebody put Korean chili paste in your coffee...
Olipop just dropped its new holiday soda, Pomegranate Sparkle, and then did something nobody asked for but everybody is going to want to try. It turned its sodas into chocolate bars.
The Pomegranate Sparkle soda is the seasonal headline, a sweet tart addition to a holiday lineup that also brings back Crisp Apple, Ginger Ale, and Vintage Cola. You can find it through Olipop directly and at Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods, plus inside select Holiday Yeti variety packs while they last.
Soda you can drink, and soda you can eat. Olipop is covering both shifts this holiday season.
The wild part is the side project. Olipop teamed up with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartes for its first chocolate partnership, and three soda flavors got the candy bar treatment. There is a Crisp Apple bar, a Ginger Ale bar with candied ginger pieces in it, and a Pomegranate Sparkle bar. The bars run 12 dollars each, or 45 for a three bar gift box, sold only through the Compartes website. Soda you can drink, and soda you can eat. Olipop is covering both shifts this holiday season.
There is also a giveaway running November 3 through November 19, with roughly 1,000 winners getting a case of the soda plus the chocolate gift box. A soda brand making chocolate sounds like a gimmick until you remember ginger and apple have been dessert flavors forever. This one might actually work.
