Jimmy John's Just Put Its Pickles in a 48-Ounce Bucket and Declared War on the Popcorn Bucket

Jimmy John's just put its famous pickles in a 48-ounce collectible bucket at 26 locations. Swicy Pickle Bites, sweet and spicy, by the giant bucketful. The brand literally told fans to "exchange the popcorn bucket for a giant pickle bucket."

The popcorn bucket joke lands because every fast food chain is now in an arms race over novelty containers. McDonald's, KFC, everybody wants you carrying around their branded bucket like a trophy. Jimmy John's just walked in with three pounds of pickles and said this is the moment.
