Dunkin' Kicks Off Halloween With Green Apple Dunkin' Zero and Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam

Dunkin' just dropped its spooky season drink lineup, and the names alone are doing all the marketing. Leading the charge: a Green Apple Dunkin' Zero and Purple Marshmallow Cold Foam, plus the Werewolf Punch Refresher (blackberry, clementine, mango, pineapple, lemonade) and the Nutty Nightmare Iced Coffee (tiramisu plus toasted almond).

Green apple coffee drinks sound weird until you remember that sour apple candy basically raised all of us. And purple cold foam? That is pure theater, and Dunkin' knows it. The VP of menu innovation even said more surprises are coming throughout October, so this is clearly just wave one.

I will give them credit for actually committing to the bit. Halloween menus are usually just a pumpkin drink with a scary cup sleeve. Dunkin' built a whole monster cast. My only question is whether the Nutty Nightmare tastes as good as it sounds, because a tiramisu-toasted-almond iced coffee could either be a masterpiece or a candy bar that got lost in a coffee shop. Either way, October is going to be delicious.
