Wetzel's Pretzels Made a Cat in the Hat Drink and It's Bright Blue

Wetzel's Pretzels just partnered with the new animated Cat in the Hat movie, and the result is a drink called The Things' Blue Lemonade Freeze. Which is a long name for a drink, but then again the movie is about a cat who destroys a house with two chaotic creatures named Thing 1 and Thing 2, so long names are on brand.

The drink itself is a layered mix of bursting cherry boba, frozen lemonade, and blue raspberry granita. So you get tart, sweet, bright blue, and little popping boba pearls at the bottom. It is the kind of drink a kid would absolutely lose their mind over, which is presumably the entire business plan.

The Cat in the Hat animated movie hits theaters November 6, so this is a limited-time tie-in while the promo machine runs hot. Wetzel's suggests pairing it with their Dog Bites or Pizza Bitz, which is just good life advice in general.

Would I drink something bright blue and full of boba at a pretzel shop? In front of the kids? Absolutely. On a show? Even more absolutely.
