Taco Bell and Milk Bar Are Doing a Birthday Cake Empanada and I Have Questions

Taco Bell is teaming up with Milk Bar for a third time, and this time the move is a Birthday Cake Empanada. Yes, an empanada. At Taco Bell. Filled with birthday cake flavor, wrapped in a crispy shell, topped with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles. Three forty-nine.

This is the same partnership that gave us the Strawberry Bell Truffle back in 2022 and churros stuffed with birthday cake frosting in 2025. Third time's a pattern. Christina Tosi herself said she loves seeing a flavor people know so well show up in a way they never expected, and honestly, she is right. An empanada filled with birthday cake is one of the strangest sentences I have ever typed, and I have typed some weird food sentences.
