OutKast Teamed Up With Waffle House, and the Marquee Said 'GATOR BELTS AND PATTY MELTS'

October 4, 2026 • Moe Train Eats

OutKast teamed up with Waffle House on a limited-edition merch drop, and the whole thing was teased with a marquee reading "GATOR BELTS AND PATTY MELTS." This is the most Atlanta thing that has ever happened to Atlanta, and that includes the Falcons blowing a 28-3 lead. Too soon? Never too soon.

André 3000 and Big Boi each curated their own meal for an Atlanta pop-up on October 2, and the merch is still shoppable at Outkast.com, which is good, because ordering a meal at a pop-up across the country is a tall ask for anyone outside the 404.

Look, hip-hop food collabs usually mean someone names a sandwich and cashes the check. But Waffle House is sacred ground. This is not a celebrity endorsement, it is a cultural merger. The patty melt is already an institution. Putting OutKast's name on it is like putting a crown on a king who was already wearing one.
